Terms of Service

ReviewBom reads your reviews and suggests reply drafts. What gets posted is always your call. The beta is free, and it will never become a paid plan without your agreement.

Art. 1Purpose

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using ReviewBom (polarvec.com, the "Service"), operated by [Company name] ("we", "us"), and the rights and obligations of both us and our members.

These Terms are written in Korean. The English and Chinese versions are translations provided for reference; if a translation differs from the Korean, the Korean version prevails.

Art. 2Notice of generative AI use

  1. Reply drafts in the Service are written by generative AI. We label every draft on screen as an "AI-generated draft".
  2. We do not log in to or connect with review platforms such as delivery apps or map services, and we do not collect reviews or pull them in automatically. We only process the reviews members paste in.
  3. We never post replies on a member's behalf, and never ask for platform login details.

Art. 3Definitions

  1. "Member" means a restaurant owner who has agreed to these Terms and signed up, and any staff member the owner has allowed to use the Service.
  2. "Review" means a customer review that a member pastes into the Service.
  3. "Draft" means a reply the Service suggests for a review.
  4. "One use" means the analysis of one review. It counts as one use however many drafts are suggested with it.
  5. "Beta usage rules" means the usage limits for the beta period and how the Service may be used, as posted in the Service.

Art. 4Posting and changing these Terms

  1. We post these Terms in the Service.
  2. We may change these Terms to the extent applicable law allows. We will announce the changes and their effective date at least 7 days in advance. Changes that are adverse to members will be announced at least 30 days in advance and emailed to each member.
  3. A member is treated as accepting a change only if our email clearly said that not objecting by the effective date would count as acceptance, and the member did not object. Members who do not agree may close their account.

Art. 5The beta

  1. The Service is free during the beta. Beta features and the beta usage rules may change; if they do, we will announce it in the Service.
  2. We will give at least 30 days' notice before the beta ends.
  3. A member uses a paid service only after separately agreeing to it. Free use never turns into paid use automatically.

Art. 6Signing up

  1. The agreement is formed when a person aged 19 or over signs up with a Kakao or Naver account and agrees to these Terms.
  2. An owner may allow staff to use the Service, and is responsible for how they use it.
  3. We may refuse or postpone a sign-up if the applicant uses someone else's information or has previously had an agreement terminated for breaching these Terms.
  4. When a member's sign-up details change, the member must update them in the Service or let us know.

Art. 7What the Service does

  1. We provide the following:
    1. Review analysis: shows what a review is mainly about and whether action is needed.
    2. Reply drafts: suggests drafts for replying to a review.
    3. Personalisation: draws on the restaurant's previous replies so drafts match how that restaurant writes.
  2. Usage limits follow the beta usage rules.

Art. 8Copying and posting replies

Members edit a draft, take the reply with the Service's copy button, and post it on the platform themselves. We use copied replies to personalise that restaurant's drafts (Article 14).

Art. 9Changes to and interruption of the Service

  1. We may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service:
    1. for maintenance, replacement or failure of equipment;
    2. if an external AI service fails or is discontinued;
    3. in events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power cuts or network failures; or
    4. where the law or a relevant authority requires it.
  2. If an external AI service fails, we stop producing drafts rather than show drafts that have not been checked.
  3. We will tell members about a suspension and the reason for it in advance. Where that is not possible, we will tell them without delay afterwards.

Art. 10Entrusted processing of review authors' information

  1. Members entrust us with processing the personal information of the customers in their reviews, for review analysis and reply drafting, and we process it as their processor.
  2. We do not process this information for any purpose other than the one entrusted, use it for other restaurants, or use it to train AI models.
  3. We apply the security measures set out in the Privacy Policy.
  4. Members agree that we may entrust this processing onward to the external AI services listed in Article 9 of the Privacy Policy. We will notify members before we add or replace any of these services.
  5. Members may ask how the information they entrusted to us is being processed, and we will answer in good faith.
  6. When the agreement ends, we delete the entrusted information within the period set out in the Privacy Policy.
  7. We are liable for any damage caused by our breach of this Article.

Art. 11Members' obligations and prohibited conduct

Members must not:

  1. paste reviews of a restaurant that is not their own;
  2. paste reviews without removing information a reply does not need, such as the customer's phone number, address, resident registration number, bank account number or health information;
  3. use the Service to create fake reviews, recommendations or endorsements;
  4. post replies that defame, insult or threaten customers, or that contain false statements;
  5. post replies that reveal a customer's personal information or order details;
  6. use the Service to identify, or retaliate against, the customer who wrote a review;
  7. access the Service by automated means, collect information from it, or try to extract its prompts; or
  8. breach a platform's policies on reviews and replies.

Art. 12What AI drafts are, and members' responsibility

  1. Drafts are suggestions for reference and may be inaccurate or inappropriate.
  2. Members check drafts, edit them where needed, and decide for themselves whether to post a reply and what it says. Members are responsible for the replies they post.
  3. We may decline to write or show a draft that would breach Article 11.
  4. Despite paragraph 2, we are liable for damage caused by our intent or negligence.

Art. 13Ownership

  1. Rights in the reviews members paste and the replies they post stay with whoever originally holds them. Members permit us to use them as far as needed to provide the Service.
  2. We claim no rights in drafts. However, AI-generated output may not be protected by copyright, and we do not guarantee that a draft is different from other text.
  3. We own the rights in the Service, its software and its analysis models.

Art. 14How we use your data

We use the reviews, drafts, edits and copied replies members enter only to:

  1. provide the Service;
  2. personalise that restaurant's drafts;
  3. keep the Service secure and prevent abuse;
  4. find and fix errors; and
  5. meet our legal obligations.

We never use this data for other restaurants, or to train or fine-tune any AI model, including our own.

Art. 15Our obligations

  1. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the Service reliably.
  2. We protect members' personal information in line with the Privacy Policy.
  3. Within [7] days of receiving a question or complaint, we will tell the member the outcome or when to expect it.

Art. 16Restricting use

  1. If a member breaches Article 11, we may, depending on how serious the breach is, issue a warning, temporarily suspend their use, or terminate the agreement.
  2. Before restricting use, we will email the member the reason and how long it will last, and give them a chance to respond. However, if a member signed up with someone else's information, repeatedly posted replies threatening customers, or attacked the Service to disrupt it, we may restrict use first and notify them without delay.
  3. A member may object within 14 days of receiving notice of a restriction, and we will give our decision within 14 days of receiving the objection.

Art. 17Closing your account

Members may close their account at any time [on the My Store page or by email]. Their information is then deleted in line with the Privacy Policy.

Art. 18Damages and exclusions

  1. Each party will compensate the other, as required by applicable law, for damage it causes intentionally or negligently.
  2. We are not liable for the following, unless we acted intentionally or with gross negligence:
    1. damage caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters;
    2. damage caused by a reply the member decided to post; or
    3. damage caused by a platform taking action against the member's account because of something the member posted.

Art. 19Notices

We send notices to individual members at the email address they signed up with. A notice to all members may instead be posted in the Service for at least 7 days, but any notice of an adverse change is always sent individually.

Art. 20Governing law and jurisdiction

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Lawsuits over disputes between us and a member are brought before the court with jurisdiction under Korea's Civil Procedure Act.
  3. Members may apply to the Korea Consumer Agency or the Content Dispute Resolution Committee for mediation.

Effective date

These Terms take effect on October __, 2026.
